Prepositions (Part I)

They are many in number. Here, there and every where. But if you notice closely they are fairly different in nature. Yes!! it is very easy to learn them. You just need to focus on the position of the object. Prepositions are real fun. Once you get used to them, they are all around you, making a wide sense. Here are some...

Jack was coming from his office. 

He fell off the wall. (not from the wall)

We walked along the road.

She jumped into the river.

The train passed through the tunnel.

Please come down.

I am sitting in my room. (not into my room)

The mob quickly moved away from the sight of blast.
